Paisley
A 1 year old British (not to be confused with American) AKC Lab named Paisley joins our family tomorrow! She has spent her life being trained for obedience and duck hunting. She is too timid for duck hunting, so she's been released from the program to become a loving family member. We're that lucky family! Her obedience skills are excellent, she's housebroken, and because of her extensive training, she is extraordinarily soft with taking items with her mouth. She is very calm and well-behaved, and loves children! We weren't looking for a dog yet, but she meets all our criteria, so what's a few years early when you're talking about the perfect dog? :) Welcome Home Paisley!

Gabby on her soap phone
Gabby went to visit the Soap Lady with me today. She is holding my bar of gingered lemon soap and using it as her phone. The soap phone!

Lollipop lady
Gabby was a wonderful shopper yesterday while I took time to shop for beads. She was so patient! Her treat was a special lollipop.

The swinging days of Spring
Today I took Gabby and Evie out to swing. I had laundry to fold and a dishwasher to empty, but I decided they could wait...and my babies shouldn't. They had a wonderful time, and Gabby kept saying "big higher". I think she wanted to reach the sky.
Hammock happiness
Finally set up the new hammock and stand. Evie and I tried it out first. She LOVED it!!! She was all smiles and was so content to stay right there.

Evie as a flower
Here is my test photo of Evie as a flower before her professional photo tomorrow. I think she looks good. She'll be nude tomorrow, except for a diaper and bloomers. Too cute! My beautiful little flower. :)

More than just the arrival of Spring
Spring is here in GA! We've had weather in the 70s and tomorrow will hit 80. My treasured "Gabriel's Baby's Breath" is in bloom. Each one of the children has a plant in their honor. Cameron's is a Star Magnolia. It looked for awhile like it might not do well. But look... It is blooming and looking lovely! It gets pretty white flowers that will fall off and leave nice green leaves. Cameron is very proud his plant is doing well.

Independent play
Here's Saint Evie, playing on the floor with toys while I make meatloaf in the kitchen. She's 8 mos old, and so sweet and content.

Outdoor play
After Gabby's nap and the bus coming home, we all went out to play. The boys passed the football back and forth while the girls played in the swings. 70 degrees feels nice!
Angel Gabrielle
I went to wake Gabby from nap, found her looking like this, made a mad dash for my camera, and captured this...
A 2 yr old sleeping angel.

Spring walk with my lovely ladies
This morning, Gabby, Evie, and I went for a walk around the neighborhood. Gabby has some lovely curls in the back of her hair. Evie enjoyed the stroller ride and fell asleep. And some of our daffodils were bent over from wind and rain, so we clipped them and Gabby put them in vases to keep in our home. Some are in her room and she put some in Hannah and Lily's room. It was a nice outing for all. The day is overcast, warm, and with a delicious breeze.
