It Must Be Hard Being Three!

This morning, Hannah & Lily ate breakfast and then loaded into the car so I could drive Hannah to preschool. Here's a conversation Lily and I had on the way:

Lily: Mommy, I didn't have lunch!

Mommy: There's a good reason for that....it's not lunchtime....you
just ate breakfast!

Lily: I DON'T WANT TO EAT BREAKFAST!!!!!!!!!!

And there it is....the insanity of being three!

Lily Helps Make Brownies

It's a rainy day here. I love it! Gabby has had her bath, candles are lit, and Lily helped me make brownies. She added ingredients and stirred. My little chef insisted on sampling the batter to make sure it is good enough to serve her family! Her smile says it all...

How Gabby Falls Asleep

Little Gabby loves to cover her face when falling asleep! It must remind her of her close quarters in the womb. She pulls a blanket around her face and then let's her hands gently drift down. When she is asleep in her bed, she ALWAYS sleeps on her side, turning from one side to the other throughout the night. She spent months on her side in the womb. It must've been a comfy place!

Connor loves his siblings

Today the children are home from school for MLK holiday. After lunch I was washing the dishes and looked out the window to check on them. The first thing I saw was Connor pushing Cameron on the swing. Cam can pump his legs and swing by himself, but must've wanted a boost. Seeing him helping his brother instead of sliding or swinging, just melted my heart. The words, "My god...." escaped my lips. What a sweetheart! Connor adores his family.

Tiny Dancer

Lily loves to dance! Her favorite movies are Barbie, who dances ballet. Lily says she wants to be a ballerina. Though she doesn't take any dance classes yet, she often dances in the living room, practicing her steps. On the day these photos were taken, Lily dressed up in Hannah's dance outfit and put on a show for mommy. I was delighted...I see a "Tiny Dancer" scrapbook page in the making!

Gabby's 1st baby food

In January, Gabby tasted her first bite of solids...some stage 1 pears. She loved them! Connor fed her while I took the picture.

Connor's Missing Front Teeth

Connor has 3 missing teeth! Both of his two top front teeth are out, making a huge window in his mouth! He is very proud and loves his gaping grin :)
