19th century

You can take the girl out of the 19th century, but you can't take the 19th century out of the girl!

Growing up

My sons are growing up, whether I'm ready or not. Now, when our family eats out at a fast food place (here, Zaxby's), they like to sit at a table by themselves near the rest of us. So independent, so grown up.

Evie getting her ears pierced!

In December 2011, Evie got her ears pierced. She was 5 months old. It was one-two-three, pinch...then it was all over. She cried briefly during the pinch, but then was all smiles afterward. She looks lovely in her cute baby bling!

Sweet sisters

Hannah spent time playing outside with Gabby yesterday. She wasn't asked to...she just took Gabby under her wing and gave her time and love to her sister. It was something very special for me to witness. I took these pictures through the kitchen window. They never knew I was watching. Sweet, huh?

Bath Time Baby

Evie can sit up in her baby tub now! 6 months.

All bundled up!

A good daddy and a bundled up Gabby! Ready for chilly outdoor play.
